Out & About in Vancouver: The Shop with a Little Bit of Everything

If you find yourself visiting Vancouver, British Columbia (lucky you) visiting Gastown is a tourist must! In between it's famous gas-powered clock and the historic buildings, there are many independent shops popping up along the cobblestone streets. 'Out and About' is filled with hand made ceramic art, beautiful art and impeccable taste throughout.

This small two story shop is filled to the brim with detailed works of handmade pieces. Head to 321 W. Cordova Street in Vancouver to see it all for yourself! Until then, these are a few of my favorite pieces found when I was 'Out and About' exploring Gastown.

  1. Assorted hand-painted dish ware including Coffee Set Chrysanthemum $45 and Tsubaki Coffee Cup & Saucer Set - Pink Glazed $59

  2. Dog Head Vase by Eleonor Bostrom, $138

  3. Earth Teapot (Creamy White) $75

  1. Clothing such as the Fog Linen Work Skylar Shirt (Pink) $279 and the Nicholson & Nicholson SUNRISE Coat $819 (yes, this is a boujiee store)

  2. Framed Prints from the Japanese artist Sleepless Kao $165 for a medium print

  3. Kaneko Kohyo(小兵)Pink Rinka Plate (24.5 cm) $65 and the matching Kaneko Kohyo (小兵)Pink Rinka Rice Bowl $33

'Out and About' is the perfect place to pop into when you're looking for a customized gift or a special piece for yourself!
