I Started a Curology Subscription: Here’s What It’s Like!

I’m always on the hunt for skincare products to combat my seemingly never-ending fight with break outs. I was talking to my friend about skincare (bc, obvi an important subject) when she told me about Curology. I was interested, but (life happened and) I never committed to trying it out. Then, a few months ago I saw an ad from Curology saying they would send me the first round of products for free! It sounded too good to be true, but I’m a sucker for a great deal so I decided to check it out.
I went on their site and discovered that Curology would indeed send me a round of products for free - you only pay for the shipping and handling of your free trial. After reading loads of online reviews of the company, I decided this would be the perfect excuse to finally try out a new skincare routine that my skin was desperate need of. After using my free trial, I decided that Curology was for me and officially committed to a monthly subscription! Here’s what got me to commit:
Amazing Service
The first thing that attracted me to Curology (besides their quality marketing) was the ease of using their service. Curology does a great job of making you feel seen and attended to, while delivering amazing customer care and unique content at the same time. You get more than just the products, but feel as if you are joining one big happy skincare family! They make it easy to unsubscribe, delay shipments if you still have enough products, and keep track of your skin’s progress through images which are reviewed by a skincare professional.
Quality Products
Another reason Curology is unique from other skincare routines is that they create a custom skincare formula just for you, based on your own personal history and needs. To get started, you fill out a thorough questionnaire and even upload pictures of the current state of your skin so they can make a prescription medication that is right for you. You can target acne, fine lines, and wrinkles. This is what made me ultimately commit to Curology, as the one-size-fits-all skincare routines that I’ve used in the past have not done a lot to help my skin. I know this method was made with me in mind.
After filling out a questionnaire, depending on your needs, you could receive a variety of products including:
Facial Cleanser
Moisturizer
Acne spot patches
Body wash
Custom Prescription Formula
Reasonable Price
To get only the prescription formula, it is $20 a month, and for the cleanser and moisturizer, it is $30 a month. When you compare the price to the amount of products you receive in your box, it is well worth it. You can also push your shipment back so you only get the products once you need them again. That way, you see not forced to stock up on unneeded skincare products.
Pending Results
As far as results for how well Curology has worked to fight acne, they explain that you should wait at least to 6 to 8 weeks to see results, although it will depend on the person. I have now been using Curology for 10 weeks and am seeing positive results - but my personal struggle with skincare is still in the works. My acne has not altogether disappeared, and I am hoping to see more improvements in the upcoming weeks as I continue my routine. I have seen lots of improvement from the body wash in particular, and the custom formula has never made my face dry out (a huge plus).
Plus, the cleanser and moisturizer will help you keep your skin silky smooth, and the spot patches are perfect for stopping problem spots before they get crazy!
So, this is not an ad, but if you are looking for a simple skincare routine that delivers results without taking too much effort, give a custom Curology formula a try!
